I'm not sure where to post this but since I found the suggestion to use FoxFire over Yahoo under the Yahoo heading I'll post it here. Some times while online and then close my browser there is a window containing an adv. This adv always comes from tribalfusin.com. I've tried using IE to block the msg and I have a firewall running. How do I deny access to my PC? I have a Linksys router running wireless w/o the security option set. Will setting it resolve my problem?
there must be some spyware in your pc. Try some adware removal tool and this bogus ads would never come.
Tribalfusion has gotten very good at circumventing popup blockers of many browsers by causing popup ads to launch when one clicks on a normal hyperlink via the "onclick" command. Really about the only way to stop this is to block all popups rather than just "unrequested" popups. Alternatively you could block the Tribalfusion domain that is responsible for the JavaScript that launches the popups via your hosts file or if you are using IE by adding it to your "restricted" sites zone in your Internet settings. In Firefox you could add the domain to your block list for the Adblock extension.
