Google is believed to be the untouchable.
Yahoo is dead but still some millions of unaware people use it
Bing is the revolution but still people have not talked about Microsoft's superpower thing .
I truly thing that google is and will be untouchable as whatever bill gates and his team try to do to get to the top again is futile! google has taken its leap way too far and maybe in 100 years when the world is gone "maybe"bing and microsoft can do something in their search engine " rank "

As a webmaster my preference is
    1) Google 2) Yahoo 3) Bing

Preference is based on the amount of traffic I call pull out of these. Who the hell cares about their link building or content or any other secret formula... ;-)

Yeah this is the problem. Webmasters only care about how many visitors they can get. It would take something pretty hyped to bump Google out of that position.

I have always liked (Bing) MSN, however I have seen chinks in that armor as well. That is with the reliability of the uptime and load speed. Hopefully Bing is on a different path and has more dedicated resources, than the original, so the new users will not get tired of waiting for the results to pop up and migrate back to Yahoo or Google.

It would also help if Bing got rid of Overture Sponsored results, and do their own in house marketing program similar to Adwords, since Overture is shared by both MSN and Yahoo.

Interesting point. I find myself naturally searching with Yahoo more than Google and usually prefer Yahoo's serp's than googles but, never really knew what the reason was. That makes sense now.

Bing may be a good thing. Yahoo's search really is kinda empty (no visitors from there).

You guys are aware bing is just live.com right? They added a few new features, but most of the ones people are impressed with were already present on live. No one gave live the time of the day so all MS did was re-brand it and start airing commercials on tv.

Anybody that will kindly kill Google is a friend of mine! Even if it is Microsoft! Bing is so focused and centered compared to Google or Yahoo. Yahoo has always been a redheaded stepchild in my opinion, but Google is the Antichrist, so KILL THEM! Just kidding.

I like Bing so far. And I get way more organic from Live than I ever got from Google no matter what SEO tactic I use. They simply seem to crawl faster and more accurately.

Easy enough to answer Luke... Focus

Instead of rambling search results you get focused content that may be more legitimate. Just a moment ago I posted about a topic on garbage content that is so rampant on the Internet these days. The point of Bing is to concentrate the search result and eliminate the noise. Whether they can keep that algorithm working to that end is left to be seen. So far, it seems that it works. In the future there will be hack SEO guys that will figure out how to mess up the system, and that will be the challenge for this search engine.

Hopefully, Microsoft puts all their money behind it and they stay true to the promise of focused search results. Time will tell.

I do agree with you on these ... . In fact, Adsense/Adwords was the breaking point for Google when it was still comparable with Yahoo last time. Now, it is still is Google's major cash cow.

I'm wondering whether Bing will have something similar to adwords/adsense.

I think Bing is going to destroy Yahoo. They should have sold up to MS when they had the chance.

We still cannot say that Bing is more good than Yahoo because this search engine is still new... but I find Bing.com effective... (long way to beat other search engines!)

Yahoo for sure, that's no competition.
