Yahoo Vs Adsense (High Impressions, Low CTR) Forums

    I am just starting to experiment with yahoo/adsense in the forums. I have been running adsense, but the low ctr and price per click.. make it more of a burden to my users than a profit for me.

    I havent tried it yet, but from what I have read.. yahoo may outperform?

    Any thoughts?

    My opinion that it's really difficult to determine which is better for what.

    I've got no problem with YPN, if you find the right ad "genre" you can get better RPC and probably better CTR

    You should rotate between the two programs and see what provides the best results.

    unfortunately the ads are not matching up at all with the content...I dont want vonage, mortgage, etc ads on my outdoors site...

    i try again later.

    Adsense shows more relevant ads to your content, but Yahoo pays more per click (usually).

    Yahoo pays more than adsense (not by much now-a-days) but adsense display a lot more relevant ads because they have more advertisers.
