hi, I managed to get my website personaltrainerbrentwood.com to show up on the first page of yahoo search but not google . It was only a few days Ago I created the website. Will it probably show up on google too?
Ranking on Google usually takes longer, Ranking on yahoo is much more easier but the traffic is really poor. So keep working hard and you should see your site rank in Google, it might take weeks or it might take months, who nows.
Its not a simple task for google so take your time. I am learning myself still everyday. If you need any help I am sure we can work together.
I would say it probably would but it might take some more work. Is your content unique and useful? Then yes. Have you built any links to the site? If yes, then yes. Keep at it and you'll see the results
google bigger and more popular and yahoo is more targeted so they say but i like google if i had to choose
Of course there's always chance for your site to get ranked in Search engines... Based on my observation... I got ranked in Google very easier than in yahoo.
As others have said, it is often easier to rank on Yahoo! than on Google. You have to be patient and link build.
Google gives huge importance to the number of links pointing to your page. You should work hard building quality links with your targeted KWs as your anchor text.
Its better to rank high on Google than any other search engines. As over 80% of the traffic comes from Google. In my situation majority of my visitors are coming from Google itself. Backlinks are a key to get ranked high in Google. Try to build as many backlinks as possible from relevant and high PR sources.
I would like to say that Google and Yahoo Algorithms is different and you have to wait to get the good ranking in google..do your work according to Google ....
