    Greetings,

I was just wondering, how long does it take for Yahoo to update an indexed webpage?

I noticed google did this in about 3 days.

What is taking yahoo so long?

Please advise and thanks in advance.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

Yahoo is notoriously slow to update its index, but I've noticed re-ranking getting a lot quicker in the last couple of weeks. Something's going on over at Yahoo at the moment, and it'll be a week or two before we can accurately gauge what's going on.

for me, every 3-7 days. its depends on how many backlinks you build daily.

    Hmm.. interesting :)

We just redid our real estate website, so I am anxious to see the pages get indexed.

    Thanks for the replies.

    Sincerely,
    Travis Walters

Google might have a faster crawl rate and Yahoo is slow to notice the changes you might have made on your site during this time. But what can be said is that 10 days for me. To increase the frequency of the crawl the backlinks are the key.
