Yahoo traffic

As a webmaster, I always neglected Yahoo traffic. I don't even submit to Yahoo...I just let it find my website and index the pages alone. The reason for this is that I don't get much traffic.

The question is, does anyone have good traffic from yahoo? Are there any webmasters that get more traffic from Yahoo than from Google?

 

Our traffic is MUCH LESS on Yahoo than Google.

 

I know that, it generally is, but I'm interested if there are webmasters that really get a good amount of traffic from Yahoo. I also want to know some figures.

 

I get around 10% of my traffic from yahoo.

Yahoo is icing.


So I wouldn't spend a whole lot of time working on them.

I got traffic from Yahoo, of course from Google is more, but traffic is traffic

 

I receive less than 5% from Yahoo.

well i guess it depends on the keywords that you are trying to rank for.

i'm pretty sure that for even hot keywords, you would get a truck load of traffic (even though it would be less than google) from yahoo

this is a good keyword tool http://www.vretoolbar.com/keywords/ - allows you to get results from different countries and compares them across the search engines

i do not know how accurate the above keyword tool is - but i guess that it is a rough guide only

 

ive never bother submitting to yahoo either. i submit to google then let all the other search engines find me. i do quite well with yahoo traffic. out of my total traffic about 25% of my traffic comes directly from yahoo search which im very happy with.

 

traffic is traffic rightly said.. but google gives slightly better reulsts

 

I have one site that gets 35k uniques/day.
65% comes from Yahoo. I built it with Google serps in mind but it doesn't seem to do so well there for some reason.
I wish I knew why.

 

i dont get more from yahoo, but 5-10% of most sites get traffic from yahoo

 

I don't like yahoo at all according to that

 

only 1 hit in 4 months from yahoo..

 

i get just a few hundred visitors a month from yahoo, not that much, less than 10% :/ google brings almost 25%
