Lleading global Internet company, announced today that it will begin a limited test of Google Inc.'s AdSense for Search service, which will deliver relevant Google ads alongside Yahoo!'s own search results. The test will apply only to traffic from yahoo.com in the U.S. and will not include Yahoo!'s extended network of affiliate or premium publisher partners. The test is expected to last up to two weeks and will be limited to no more than 3% of Yahoo! search queries.

What do you think about this news??? Quite shocking and unexpected isnt it. Google and Yahoo!...partners again??!! Reminds me of the days with the "Powered by Google" logo in Yahoo!

"Yahoo! announced today that it has partnered with its arch rival Google to display Google AdSense ads besides Yahoo! search results. Yes, Google will be serving ads on Yahoo! This is just a two week test and Google AdSense ads will only appear on 3% of all Yahoo! search queries, but it shows that Yahoo! is at least open to considering all options and doing what is best for their company."

It's shocking but necessary I guess. Yahoo must realize that its own ad networks fail to channel enough revenue.

    Can't beat em? Join them!

This may help to light a fire under the feet of MS when it comes to the Y! deal. Even the minor hint of those two working together is a nail in the coffin of MSN/Live. I'm betting we hear about a deal between MS and Y in the next few weeks.

Yahoo is desperate....the yahoo staff is less than competent at running a company. Yahoo has the skill of 13year olds running a business out of a basement.

This is very sad news. The Internet is no longer a place for diversity. I hope this does not happen.

If there is only one company who run the business, then they can control everything. It is not good.

It will apply to only search results in the US, and will be capped at 3% of Yahoo's total search queries.

It is tough time for MS. clever move by yahoo. Yahoo understands that they are leader in the portals not in the search. Both msn and yahoo failed in search. so yahoo may more focus on releasing new products to be leader in the portals rather than in search.
