Yahoo to charge users ??

does anyone know if this is true or not ?

 

I'd guess not true. If they charge for messenger, they would lose their customers overnight as they simply would move to another free service.

 

That would be a very very bad move ...

 

other messaging program like skype are also showing paid accounts.. so I'm not surprised if yahoo do that too..

Nah, not a good idea for Yahoo if this story is true. There are lots of alternatives people can use so it will just make customers stop from using YM.

 

I think that would be an extremely stupid idea on the part of yahoo. They would lose more than they would gain. MSN and Google Talk are already better than Yahoo Messenger for most people, I don't see what would make anyone want to pay for it.
Either way, that story sounds extremely fake.

This is a hoax spreading as spam.
Yahoo will keep the messenger free.

 

Just as stupid as the rumour that Facebook are going to charge.

 

People like making rumors and here it is the best of them.

 

Yahoo would lose all its customers and that would really be bad for business. It would be a bad move if Yahoo went ahead with this.
