There have been several offers. Not sure if that's an updated offer or not, but so far Zuckerberg has held out.

Zuckerberg isnt selling. He's even told the media this, you can find on the net where he's opted against selling so far because facebook is profitable (100m/yr from estimates). Why sell for a billion when you can grow revenue and make even more. Do you think MySpace would have sold if they knew they could have inked a deal with google just a few months later for twice what they sold out for?

This is NOT good news!!!!!! What would they do with FB? Fill it up with more ads (I've noticed an increase in ads) only reason why I joined was to get away from the ads off myspace..

Yahoo offered, Zuckerberg declined. Yahoo offered again, Zuckerberg declined. He knows exactly what he's doing. Facebook isnt worth 2 billion. A billion, sure. But 2 billion implies something more... something better.. than a myspace/friendster also-ran.

Facebook angered a lot of its core when it allowed non-students to register and high school kiddies. Zuckerberg's greed will ultimately be his undoing.

Facebook is still trendy. The users he angered still use Facebook.
