Yahoo Store - Set Permissions Problem

I have a Yahoo Store, and the control panel will not allow me to change permissions, like a normal c-panel.

Since I am a layman, can you walk me through exactly how and where to add a file that will alter the permissions.

I know the command will be

    chmod 666 ad_network_ads_248.txt

But, does this just go in a file named abc.php and save it in the root directory? Or, do you put tit at the top of the ad_network_ads_248.txt page?

PS - I do not know how to work with an FTP program.

    Thanks!

I haven't use Yahoo stores before....

If you can access your files with an FTP program you should be able to set permissions from that. Have you tried to ftp at all? Once you open your site you can right click on the file and you should see an option to set permissions or chmod.

I use SmartFTP wich I downloaded for free.

You just have to enter your ftp address (usually your domain name), then your login and password. Hit connect. Navigate to the files you need to edit, then right click. In SmartFTP it shows a popup screen with "Properties/CHMOD". Click on that and then enter your permissions.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
