What if you are using the Yahoo Store Platform?
They don't allow you to upload a .htaccess file.

    Is there a workaround then?

I would like to redirect some of my old pages with PR to a new location with no PR--and have the old PR transfer over to the new page of course!

Also, is there no way to redirect the main site to the proper "www." location.
ex: abc.com should automatically redirect to http://www.abc.com

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR ME.

If they don't allow .htaccess, they can still allow redirecting to proper www. location. If you can't do that try to define your preferred domain in google webmaster tools.

Unfortunately, they don't allow proper redirecting to www. location.

I actually never thought about the preferred domain in google webmaster tools. That is a pretty good idea. Thank you for the help!

Anybody know the answer to my other question where I would like to change the old page with PR to a new page with no PR. The problem is that I do not have access to a .htaccess file and I don't want to lose the PR as well.

    Thanks

They do that for security reasons, but it kind of leaves you with a sour taste in your mouth doesn't it.
