Recently I've noticed Yahoo finds very strange pages as resut from my site and I'm curious if others see similar behavior. Ie there are many pages which point with anchor "Key phrase" to the page which is about this keyword. In search results however one of the pages which gives a link is shown, not the page which is being linked. The page which gives a link has nothing related to this keyword just link itself which is really strange. Have anyone seens something like it ?
how old is your site? I've noticed something similar for a site I'm working on that has been in Yahoo! for maybe only 9-10 months. For one of my main keyword phrases an internal page is found (in the top 200 unfortunately right now) instead of my homepage. My phrase is in links to my homepage (internal and external) and the page copy and title is much better for this phrase yet Yahoo! insists on returning my other page grrrrrr
