yahoo sitemaps

I've found that our yahoo traffic has gone up 50% since we added a yahoo sitempap - anyone else have a similar experience?

 

I added the yahoo sitemap on the same day I did the google sitemap so I haven't really noticed anything. I guess I'll go check out my stats again now that you mentioned it.

 

wow I hope it goes up that much. I just submitted my sitemaps to Yahoo & Google. I can't wait to see the results.

 

Do you use different sitemaps for yahoo and google ? I use the same one. Is that wrong ?

I have both yahoo and google sitemaps and I haven't noticed a change. A lot of people think that sitemaps are not necessary. I use them anyway.

I have used yahoo sitemaps since my sites are online, but I don't notice any significant traffic from yahoo.

I didnt even know that they had one.

So sitemap is for those with their own sites ? What about blogs ? I am kind of new to sitemaps.
