How should i create yahoo sitemap (text sitemap). What is maximum limit of links i can put in yahoo sitemap?
sitemap is common for all the search engine. if you have one for google, use the same for yahoo as well.
there's no maximum limit, as far as i've tested. i've built a sitemap with 20000+ links and submitted it to yahoo without any trouble...
I did not know that the sitemap being used for google can also be used for yahoo. Now I will add my sitemap to yahoo, thanks for the tip.
You need to have only one sitemap, then submit it to all search engines. I don't k that there is any max limit for urls in sitemap.
It's not sitemap for yahoo. It's urllist.txt and anglina is right there is no any limit for placing links in the same.
They accept sitemap.xml too but they don’t index faster until you get backlinks from content rich websites.
Yahoo accepts sitemaps.org xml protocol. This also accept urllist.ext, but that's being phased out by Yahoo. sitemaps.org xml works across Google, Yahoo and MSN (ask will identify it via your Robots.txt file)
