Yahoo siteexplorer update?

A few days ago I noticed that Yahoo siteexplorer changed its GUI interface, but did not think too much of it at the time, but today I went back to check my backlinks, and it looks like I lost a few thousand in Yahoo... but I checked those of my competitors and they seem to have lost the same amount.

So does anybody know if there has been a big change in the Yahoo backlink algorithm?

I have personally noticed a change in rankings and backlink count. I'm sure the two go hand in hand.

I noticed that same thing in yahoo, maybe yahoo decided to stop
    counting no follow links?

They might be improving things as it was always imho too easy to get ranked on yahoo compared to google.

I think it's just how many links Yahoo exposes through site explorer. I have been watching it for a while now and I think they tweak the reporting all the time. At the core though, I think their full index still has that information - it's just a question of how much they expose it to us (since it's a more expensive query for them to return all the data).
