Yahoo Site Explorer & DNS Redirect

    hello,

The number of inlinks reported by Yahoo Site explorer for our site has dropped in the last few months and continue to drop. It happened to our competitors too, but they gained back their numbers, while we did not.

Could this be because of the DNS redirect from www domain name to non-www domain name?

I understand there are fluctuations in numbers usually in site explorer, but this seems different. And for this client, for good reasons, the number of inlinks from yahoo is very very important.

Could this drop be because of the DNS redirect or there is something else?

    Thank you,

Maybe. I think www is different from non WWW in Yahoo explorer for showing your backlinks.
