http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=do...Search&fr=FP-tab-web-t&toggle=1&cop=&ei=UTF-8 KW: Dog Training This is my area of expertise and I took a look at first page breakdown: 1. Old havent been updated since 2001 link farm 2. Spammy website offering very POOR and unprofessional advice. And one of those few page shops. 3. Same site as 1. 4. Some site that has very little information about dog training and to make it even less good its hard as hell to find. 5. This page is a coming soon page!!! 6. This is honestly another website charging huge amount for nothing, cleverly disguised as a very respectable site, but really its not. 7. Old website that hasnt been updated for god knows how long with a link to new website. In my opinion ANOther spam website with very little useful information 8. This one is an ok site for a local ( 5-6 states) dog training business. It's not spammy or anything, but it shouldnt be here for people looking for dog training advice. 9. Dog Store, poorly made at that. Only thing it has going for it, is the domain name. 10. This site just made me ill to even look at, shouldnt even be on 10th page. Pretty much all decent information website that actually try and help the owner to guide them are at page 20-30+ mixed in with alot of spam. Seriously... whats wrong with search engines... Google is a little better, having 1-2 solid pages on the front page, rest is spam. It'd be really interesting if everyone could do this for their top 10 expertise. Id like to see how yahoo is doing. I also anazyled all of them using ranks.nl keyword tool and I honestly dont see how some of these sites can be on frontpage...
Some of the searches that I frequently perform offer results that are not overly spammy, but I still believe that their search algorithm is in pretty bad shape. They are also very slow.
The #1 thing to remember about yahoo is....their stock is down 11% today, so overture minimum bids will be rising in the near future LOL Wait. Its 12% now
http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=yhoo Yahoo missed earning forecasts for 2005, so its stock is tumbling. http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=goog Google down 4.5% today. Probably a normal day. Down 4.5 up 10 the next day LOL http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=msft down 1/8% or so. Year ends are starting to filter out...so this is high stock activity time.
