I have had some recent success with my site. There are three or four keywords that I am targeting. I cracked the top twenty on AltaVista and Yahoo after applying some of the advice I found here a few days ago. The weirdest thing about this is that I have a relatively small forum (107,000 posts), and the forum I am competing with is enormous (3,000,000 posts), but I am ranked far ahead of them on search engines now. I managed to get a link on Wikipedia which is #1 for the keyword I was going after. I'm pretty sure that made all the difference.

I'm not been getting much traffic at all from Yahoo and no changes recently unfortunately. :(
