My companies website is #1 on Google for ´X´ with little over 1 million search results, its pharmacy related, one year old and lets say the competitors follow my website very closely.. if you know what I mean but unfortunately i´m not able to disclose the URL publicly. The websites all white/grey hat done by moi, it has well over 10,000 links. The top keyword we also rank page 1 for is somewhat known to be the toughest in the industry but i don´t blog about my business so it´s kept to myself and close friends!! Now the issue is that i´ve never been a big fan of Yahoo nor SEO for Yahoo but realize there would extra surge of traffic from also ranking page 1 in Yahoo so I´m hoping someone can help me with so little info and not seeing the website.

The keyword density for ´X´ on our website is 4.95% which i would personally consider as being perfect, but ranking #1 on Google for ´X´i´d imagine ranking atleast page 3 on Yahoo but can´t seem to break past 100. All links the websites got since day 1 are permanent making a couple of exceptions of course. All meta descriptions, title, keywords are in place and up to standards with Google so guessing with Yahoo too?

Sorry to be so vague but hopefully someone can fill me in with something stupid that I´ve missed out to be ranking well on Yahoo too???? I could do with someone actually commenting rather than sending me a URL as I´ve probably read the stuff before and done what it says?? :/

I suggest that you get a Yahoo directory listing. Yahoo's been sending my site some substantial(for my keywords) traffic after I got my site listed in the Yahoo directory.

pay hundreds of dollars to get listed in Yahoo directory or you won't get to the top. SEO for Yahoo is all about money (beside domain age and keyword density)

I would have to disagree about the yahoo directory. I have great rankings and have never paid a dime to them.

thanks for the comments so far, we should be already yahoo directory listed but i forgot :=) so i´ll do that, I´ve ranked different websites page 1 on both Google & Yahoo before but Yahoo SERPs were a fluke heh.

    Any other comments much appreciated

Yeah, $200 for a directory listing is not quite in the budget for me. seconnection, can you provide some insight about how you do so well in Yahoo w/o having to pay for the directory listing??
