    Yahoo index more links than google and it is the main reason that we can't maintain our positions in yahoo search . I am getting traffic from yahoo but you have to update regularly to maintain positions .

    A lot are saying that it is harder to get good rankings in yahoo....

    But think about it, the top 10 in google are 10 websites from somewhere.

    Similarly the top 10 on Yahoo are 10 websites from somewhere...

    Someone has to do it.

    Pretty much the same optimization you would do for google, theres a few variations between google and yahoo. Aim for good google rankings and you should also as a result look good on Yahoo.

    He means Yahoo prefers a lot of links of any PR as opposed to Google who prefer smaller amounts of links with higher PR.

    I'm not sure that's true but just explaining what the other poster meant.

    I Have an Experience.
    I have 2 blog with same Title.
    #1 blog when i search the title in yahoo search, it is number 1 and the second blog is number 2.

    But when i do same as in yahoo search The second blog is number 1 in google search but I can not see my fisrt blog in google search result.

    i think google very difficult to stay consistently in SERP.:rolleyes:

    I believe Yahoo is smart. I guess it is just that there algorithm follows a different line of thinking or pattern.
