No it's not filtering blogger blogs only takes more time to index them.

yeah, blogger pings google almost directly and inject's a blog immediately. The way to get indexed in yahoo is much longer.

I think there may be some subtle prejudice at work there...

I have several blogger blogs that are indexed in Yahoo and are ranked high for their targeted search terms.

    Just be patient.

    One last thing.

I did some Yahoo vs. Google checking on some of my other blogger accounts. In particular I checked my blog being-batman.blogspot.com

For the search term of "Being Batman" (the title of my blog as well as the title of a widely linked-to Forbes magazine article) I rank #3 on Yahoo, but on Google I'm no where in the top 30 (even with an exact phrase match).

The reason for this is the lack of inbound links to my blogspot blog.

I have about 30 sites up on the web all with various linking and content strategies. The biggest differences between Yahoo and Google as far as I can tell:

Yahoo loves lots of content (especially lots of recent keyword related content) and Google loves lots of links (especially with relative anchor text).

The only on-page stuff Google even seems to care about is title tags and one or two keywords on the page. If you have that, and lots of links, the rest of your content can be about non-sense and you should still rank well.
