Yahoo Search still not powered by BING ?

Well few weeks back i read an article that the deal was finalized but still i dont see bing results on yahoo .. wonder if the deal is still gonna go on or no

 

Or maybe it will be powered by the bing index only.
Not something to be noticed easily.

 

I also have not heard any new developments in this matter...can anyone tell about this?

 

There hasn't been any news since last summer. I guess we have to wait and see.

 

It is better that Bing kept separate else it will ruin Yahoo too.

 

I believe they do provide Yahoo the search technology but branding might take time.

 

HAHA you make me laugh Yahoo search algo is really pathetic against the bing algorithm bing is far better to sort the indexes for more relevance, and can in some point be as good or better than google.

 

I've done a bit of searching on all three search-engines, and I agree with you that Bing can be better than Google. Bing's image and video-search functions are the best in the world right now. With that said, when it comes to 'regular' web-searching, I honestly feel that Bing is the worst of the three. Yahoo and Google consistently give me more relevant results, and their ranking systems seem a bit more logical.
It would be unfortunate if Bing replaced Yahoo search...

Yahoo is still more powerful than Bing in my opinion.

 

Log live Yahoo (if it can do something about it's market share!).

 

They have not cleared all the legal hurdles yet.

Totally agree with Bohra, as all Yahoo results are outdated and from my point of view Bing is by far better than Yahoo now. And i'm the person who uses Yahoo most of the time as I have e-mail with them... but now I'm getting very disappointed with their results and finally starting using google and bing.

 

i like the bing site.especially the layout of the videos it really cool

 

For all of you that like bing so much better than Yahoo and Google, I have a hunch it's because your mediocre sites rank better there. Otherwise I can't for the life of me see why you would think that junk no count search engine can even compare to Yahoo and Google. Any searches I do there show low quality less relevant sites than Google and Yahoo. I don't care how many commercials they run, it still sucks.

 

Bing will ruin Yahoo too. It is so lazy. Better they remain separate.

Bing does have the looks though but it certainly doesn't have the right capabilities

 

To most websites, the most traffic are from google, the second are from bing.
