    Hi,

My site is a .com domain, and in yahoo.com for most of my keywords i am top. However, what i really need is my results to be top in yahoo.co.uk, most don't even rank :\. Is there any way you can tell google that your site is from the uk and not from the us? My site is hosted in the uk.

    Cheers

    Matt

    Google follows some ethics

-If domain is .co.uk , org.uk then domains are marked as being for people in the UK.
-Some .com are marked as geo targeted to UK when the owner authenticates it via sitemap

For gaining the top ranking in the co.uk version of Google site, you need to have links pointing at your website and from the co.uk domains. If you already have an old website which is having top rankings in Google.com page, trying to optimize for the uk format is not going to be that difficult.

lol, its not google.co.uk i'm having trouble with. Its yahoo.co.uk.

For google.co.uk, i'm on the first page for my search terms... (.com further down, which is fine)

so its yahoo.co.uk i'm having trouble with, i'm nowhere. (yahoo.com i'm 2nd for my key search term and 1st for the smaller ones)
