Is there anyone else that thinks 12%+ for keyword density is a little high? Are we talking keyword phrases here or just single words? 12% for single words sounds ok because when you are optimizing for variations of a phrase you naturally have a common word in all the phrases. If however, we are talking 12% for a phrase that sounds high to me.

I normally think 7% for for phrase density is pushing it. What do others aim for so that they are in good standing for all search engines?

12% is insane way to high, when yahoo gets their act together all the keyword stuffers will be hurting.

I keep my keyword pharses around 1.5-2.0 if you really check them but as stated earlier density doesn't really matter.

You need to work your keyword phrases in and make it flow naturally with orginal content.

In my opinion yahoo is a dead search engine. It fits in with the internet of the past like AOL, Netscape, ask.com along with others.

Yahoo place a lot of emphasis on relevancy. don't bother to stuff keywords in your content.
