Hi Hubert, You mention to me that I need to remove my page higher, can you please copy and paste for me the part that i need to remove higher, i am using dream weaver but i am new with that, so i hope i can do it. Thank you Lisa
I have never used dreamweaver and I am not a guru on programming and code. I know just enough to be dangerous. You may want to post a question in the HTML and Website Design section of the forum. There are some guys there far more educated at coding than I. The main thing you need to do is move the code for your quote box down in the code, while moving the text up in the code. This is accomplished with by placing each section of code inside a set of div tags, and then using a piece of code in your css to set the page position. Some in there should be able to help you, but I don't know enough to do so. I had to pay someone to do it for my site.
Great, Thank you so much, this is good information to help me, i will ask my programmer to do so. Maybe if i will remove it higher the search engines will index it better, is this is the ideal.
So ... Going back to some of the question that were asked on the original post Which keyword density analizer should we use ? i'm using goranks and seochat ones and both give me different results in some cases the difference would suggest a penalty by google, so i guess i better ask the people specialized on the subject which i should use better to focuse on google optimizations ? Ps: Please, no answers such like: "concentrate on your backlinks" or such stuff, i would appreciate very much if someone could just answer me what i asked /s
The reason people tend not to answer your question directly is because keyword density is almost meaningless when it come to optimization and SERP placement. The text must read naturally and not be so stuffed with keyword phrases as to be stilted or obvious to the reader. At the same time you should type and work your keyword phrases into the text as often as possible -- three times for your prime phrase being a minimal target.
What? You can totally move sites in yahoo by cranking up the keyword density, ecspecially the keyword density of your internal links.
I really don't believe that. It is just an invitation to stuffing. But let's assume it is correct, then what is the optimum density number? And how do you increase the density in your internal links as Ferret suggests?
by making redundent navigation, like sitemaps using your key phrases as the links, or by alt tagging your navigation buttons with key phrases Dooh.. I love getting negative repped for pointing out things that are true
My templates site had about 12% density and I am pretty sure this is what caused a drop in rankings in Yahoo a few months ago. It has recovered after I dropped it to about 8%. Msn loves keyword stuffing - almost as much as blog spamming!
Who would possibly negative rep you for this post. Even if it isn't true it is your considered opinion and there is nothing wrong with expressing that. Otherwise we have no basis for this entire forum. So never stop giving your opinions.
I get people excited so they stalk my threads, I should crank on of my sites to like 50% key word density to see what it does, I'm pushing 26% on one of my best ranking sites in yahoo, at least on the front page
I'd like to see that site. I can't believe that you can have 26% density and still have the site user friendly.
I can confirm Yahoo for real estate does not like high density. When we have compared the top sites presently in Yahoo their density level was around 3 to 4 % and some a little lower.
I think for single keyword you should use keyword density 2.75 % you can also use META Tag Analyzer at http://www.scrubtheweb.com/abs/meta-check.html
