Yahoo! Search Index Update

Hi,

Recently last week yahoo updated its search index and therefore people have seen some changes in ranking and indexing of their sites.

Acoording to Priyank Garg & Sharad Verma from Yahoo search-"Over the next few days, we'll be rolling out some changes to our crawling, indexing and ranking algorithms. While we expect the update will be completed soon, as you know, throughout this process you may see some ranking changes and page shuffling in the index.

Also, some of you pointed out some issues with Deleting URLs in Site Explorer a few days ago. This has now been addressed and your Deletes should continue to work on Site Explorer."

Thanks for the heads-up. I have not seen much on my end as of yet.

 

The notice from Y is about a week & a half old, that update, is just history.

 

on my end every thing working fine.

I never care about yahoo.

 

My sites didn't get well rank on yahoo yet.
