Hi there.I have no trouble getting ranked on google and msn but I do not understand a thing about yahoo.Some ideas to improve my ranking...

 

if you have $$$ to spend, get into the yahoo listing. That will helps to get click from Yahoo.

 

Yea,try to get listed in yahoo directory,it will help.

 

I personally listed there, and trust me, it's much cheaper than SEO
think 90/month for a cheap SEO.
300 will be used up in 4 months.

i have the same problem . i'm trying to improve my yahoo serp but there is no improvement for last 9 months

 

well. it seems yahoo frequently updating their algo. is it? one of my clients site is #1 in google and a week before it is in #6 in yahoo but now it is #81. client pissing me on that as it is christmas season. site already listed in yahoo directory and it is seperate problem with title and des. any ideas to improve rank.

 

i have the same problem. #1 & #5 in google and #24, #26 in yahoo.

 

they have different algoritms...

 

It seems Yahoo can't decide what to use to rank a site. Everytime they update their algo there seems to be huge changes in rankings. All I can tell right now is Yahoo likes inbound links. The rest seems to be about keyword placement on your web pages. That is what has big changes every algo update.

 

how much does it usualy cost to get onto the yahoo directory?
