Yahoo search engine

hi, i am new here and want to know why yahoo do not optimize my site as good as google? my site is turkish

 

One major difference between Yahoo and Google is that Yahoo seems to put more emphasis on your internal link structure. So to rank well in Yahoo it helps to have a large website with good cross linking througout the site.

 

Also keyword density is more important for yahoo. Increase keyword density in the content with title and use target keyword in punchline on the topic on the top or in the bottom.

 

weird my site gets way more traffic from yahoo than google. launched it 3 months ago

One thing to note is that Yahoo will also place more emphasis on meta tags. These are effectively useless in Google though.

 

yahoo has a lower volume of searches so don't expect as much traffic as you get from google
