I have some blogs wherein they have some hits from yahoo. But so far I am not using yahoo search anymore just only using google at the moment since whenever I do search in yahoo only few contents could be seen so I just stop using it for awhile.

Yahoo is still the most popular website online (according to Alexa). So it's not dying yet, however I rarely see any hits from it for my websites.

I have two sites in which Google is by far the best source of hits, yet, another site Yahoo sends me way more visitors.

I don`t optimise for any one search engine, just try to make my sites search engine friendly etc etc.

Google is the light to my cigarette, yahoo is the wart to my ass.

So if everybody thinks like I do, then I'd say its dying.

some research show that yahoo is actually getting more search strings than google does.. it may not be true or false. To be honest, I haven't used yahoo search since 1999.. Before I yahoo in mid 90s, and hotbot in late 90s. but now I am using google most of the time, because of their search results.

but I don't think yahoo is dying, if yahoo board thinks they are dying, they will definitely merge with either MSN or Google, that's for sure.

Plenty of people still use it, but the market in yahoo is very different to google. I personally have found it easier to get rank in yahoo but you won't get traffic for somethings whereas on google you would get heaps.

I actually do better on Yahoo (as far as SERP is concerned) than I do on google, but I get more traffic from Google.
