Does this site http://www.avantfind.com/search.asp?keywords=kontaktanzeigen created from yahoo search API? where to get sample script using the yahoo search API? Thanks
Doesnt look like it to me, as the urls don't go through yahoo. Or it could be yahoo powered and they could be violating the TOS by linking directly.
Here's a sample script I use on one of my sites: http://www.smallmouthbass.biz/yahoometa/yahoometa2.php To use it all you need is a Yahoo appid, which is free. CODE http://www.smallmouthbass.biz/yahoometa/yahoometa3.php?view_source=1 IN USE: http://www.smallmouthbass.biz/yahoometa/yahoometa.php?q=digital+point&sa=Triple+Search
Hi One question, I wonder if you can clarify...do the search results show the same for each page? Is this a feature of the Y!API, or is it possible to get Unique results? M
It's free and easy. You can get a Yahoo API ID here: http://developer.yahoo.com/ Navigate to the API that you want to use and click on the link to get an API key.
Currently I'm using schmidte script, just wondering how can I store the search result into mysql database?
Wow, this threat has been going on for more than 3 years!! Did it start at the time of Yahoo API launch?
Just saw this post this morning. Not sure how I've missed it up to now! Anyhoo, I'm the Community Manager at the Yahoo! Developer Network. We have a forum set up for our developers, so for a faster response, you can always repost stuff like this there. http://developer.yahoo.net/forum Also, check out the BOSS group and the Search group to get insight from other developers working on the Search APIs. Just a slight warning, API is great but if you have a high traffic site and you drive all that traffic to use your application that uses yahoo API you will get your queries ignored by Yahoo. In such cases you need to contact Yahoo so that your API will work even if you use it all the time.
