Yahoo search api: internal server error

Hi, i'm using the yahoo search api for several sites of mine for an internal site search.

The yahoo api seems to be offline now. I keep getting an '500 internal server error'. What I want to know is: has someone else witnessed this too the last couple days and does this happen more often?

For the record: i use php's file_get_contents() function to grab an output. This is an example query:

    http://search.yahooapis.com/WebSearchService/V1/webSearch?appid=APPID&output=php&query=BROKEN&results=10&site=MYSITE.COM&start=1

I have problems with this API too, this is first time for about 2 years.
Now getting just a blank response, Search Engine Update Monitor can't obtain the data...
