    Hey Guys,

The news of the transition from Yahoo Search powered results to Bing powered organic Yahoo search results was long awaited since the test for Bing results in Yahoo! Search began occurring. Today the wait comes to an end. Yes! Now Bing is powering Yahoo!’s search results, but only in the US and Canada for now.

    Have Great Day!

Yes it's true. Lets hope that the quality of search results improves with the collaboration. But can't really hope for it to be a serious competition to Google. One is so used to seeing the Google homepage that it is somehow impossible for a Googler to change loyalties in the coming 4-5 years at least.

Why's this such great news? Doesn't it just mean we have two search engine's that are exactly the same? If you prefer Bing's results just use Bing.

My thoughts as well. I like having options. Competition means there are choices. Now, there are only 2 main choices.

Has Microsoft taken over Yahoo as well or is it the other way around?
