I've just enabled the script for checking Yahoo SERPs, and am wondering why I am getting "N/A" for pretty much everything. I'm in the UK, and if I search either yahoo.com or yahoo.co.uk for many of my terms, I rank in the top 20. But using the tracker, I get nothing - only one search term has a ranking. I'm not clear as to how many results the Yahoo checker goes through - is it the same as the Google preferences? And is there a manual way to check the Yahoo API result, so that I can check to see if using the API returns something different to the "normal" results?
A couple of times now I have seen slight differences but nothing like you have said. But to your question.. at preferences you can set up for upto 200 th place to be checked. But takes long time though.. Other than that I looking forward for an answer too.
I used 2 other SERP checkers, against a keyphrase that I rank in the top 20 for. One showed me in the right place, the other didn't show me in the top 50...does this mean the Yahoo API is wildly inaccurate? Looks like I'm going to have to continue to check Yahoo results manually :-(
