    Google is Yahoo Number 1 enemy, so to do an alliance is a bit strange, but if Microsoft take over they pocket a huge sum of money. I would opt for the money in my pocket rather than sleeping with the enemy.

    Google can't buy them since they already monopoly in the market. Regulators will block the deal. Even MS also they have to go through the antitrust case. Its better yahoo be alone. They are lot better than MS.

    Hmm seems quite disgusting to me to be requesting such a high number in money when our educational systems could benefit from just a third of that money. But that's just a PTA mom's perspective on this. I guess business is business.

    It is hard for Microsoft to overpay because they have to satisfy their shareholders too. And I think Yahoo independent financial advisor already advised them to take up even at $31, and now they want $40. Microsoft may want Yahoo badly, but whether will it be that badly remains to be seen.
