Sure Yahoo doesnot update its algorithm everytime and that is the reason, it has a stable ranking. Most of the people would only check yahoo site explorer as a tool to check backlinks, that is it. No one even bothers to check the yahoo search engine. On the other hand, google keeps on updating its algorithm and brings innovation to built up good SEO. ;)

What you listed must be from your own experience. I agree with them. After many months observation, I found the same theory with you.

It's safe to say that Yahoo's ranking is more stable than Google. But that's not noteworthy at all because you can only get minimal traffic from Yahoo. ;)

That isn't true at all. I have sites getting thousands of traffic daily from Yahoo. Although Google brings tens of thousands, Yahoo still brings in several thousand by itself. If you're going to complain about search engines not delivering any traffic, then look at Bing. They're doing a horrible job (although people say they get traffic from there as well), so I guess in summary: If you're not getting traffic from a search engine, you're doing it wrong.

I get traffic from both Yahoo and Google but rankings are stable in Yahoo only when compared to Google.

Well, Yahoo Search Direct may be a good thing, but i don't think that Yahoo gives a better ranking to pages than google.
    Yahoo stays updated though.
And google search give OLD & Crappy results.

Most SEO discussions tend to focus on Google for the mere fact that it has undoubtedly dominated the marketplace. However, ignoring Yahoo would not really be a smart choice.

Bing not having good traffic share is Microsoft' problem, not ours. Even if the share is small compared with Google, if you manage to rank well in Bing, you'll get much more traffic than say Google page 10.
