Yahoo Ranking important factors ?

    1. What's the meaning for related link ?
    2. some web site has only 10 link can also go to first position..why ?
    3. they have linked from directory .. is it useful not other link ?
    4. Is the subdomain is not good ?
    5. How about the location and e.g .co.jp ?? compared to .com ?

    Yahoo is slightly confuse nowadays earlier it was pretty easier to get ranked on yahoo.

    Yahoo! and Bing will produce almost identical search results with the obvious exception of sponsored results. Related keywords and links to you site will add to your PR. Depending on the keyword you choose depends how hard it will be to get on the first result page. Generally the more specific you get the easier this is.

    yahoo don't discuss any of this things that's why its hard to tell how they really behave.. but as far as i know yahoo is still focus on on-page factors..

    We recently increased in yahoo rankings when I uploaded a pdf documents to sites like scribd, docstoc, etc - with links going to our site . I am just unsure if it is for the long term.

    Blog comments and forum posts seem to be enough for Yahoo. Plus on-page optimization is huge for them. Also, I thought Bing took over Yahoo's search? Their results are identical nowadays, so I'm not sure why there are still 2 separate forums for them.

    I think keyword density on page matters for Yahoo.
