Yahoo! ranked btween #3-8 in all key words, Google bw #13-30 :(

I did all the work for the SEO of my new site, and In Yahoo!, I ranked between #3-#8 with all my targetted kew words (5 of them). But With Google it's above #10(ranked #13, 17, 20 23, 30)...I want it the other way around!!

    So, why is it happening?

What are the major differences you have to be careful between Google optimization and Yahoo! optimization?

My domain is 1.5 year old but my site is new (2 months old)....could that be one of the reasons?

    Any other thoughts?

FYI I did most of the work in this month, especialy last 2 weeks. (Maybe I should wait to see the results in Google?)

    Thanks

Google calculating the age not by domain.. its hosted and google bot knows how long been the site online...so ur site is 2 months old.. so has to wait until at least 6 months.. just wait and do promotion

Keep getting good links now till your site is 6 months old, then you should see a boost in position

DO not worry friend. Yahoo show the proper backlinks and google hides it data from every one. keep on building quality links to your site and google will definately see it now or after.

Every search engines having thier own Alogrithm. if you get top on Yahoo, you might have finished the need for yahoo SEO.

Well you can now concentrate on Google using thier own policies.

you can refer webmaster tools for getting good ranks in Google. Do some promotions, get some quality related backlinks. You may get results soon.

Yahoo is much easier to rank than Google IMO, especially if you are using spammable link building techniques like forum sigs, blog commenting, blog posts, directory submissions, etc. Google devalues a LOT of links that Yahoo! will count due to abuse of the above techniques in the past by spammers.

Google's algorithm is also based heavily on relevance... Yahoo! is not nearly as sophisticated in this regard.

They are very different... and ranking well in Google will likely always be more difficult.

and Since Google is never tell there update and changes until it is really happen ,I suggest you to "push your "visitor experienced loyalty, cause this what make "Google see that your site as a "bookmarked place"to get information
