    Good point. I have taken YPN down from one of my sites already and have taken down their ads from my top earning pages. I didn't want to but I was worried about the traffic quality of those pages. My earnings are now :( .

    why is your earning low? you did'nt specify whether you are using adsense ads in place of YPN or any other ads? anyway you should be happy that low earning is better then blocked account

    I have set GeoIP targeting on my pages. So the ads only show to U.S. visitors only :) Am I in good shape?

    Because now there terminating accounts whose traffic is not good quality, such as users who click on the ads and don't purchase anything on the site, etc..

    because major portion of the internet users are not from US. And according to some recent technorati articles english is not even the top language of blogosphere. It only forms 32 % while japanese form around 36%.

    So if you block non-us visitors then i think its definately going to affect your business.

    You want to block non-US visitors from seeing Yahoo Ads. Yahoo even recommends it, since they don't do the filtering themselves. Then for those non-US visitors you can display ads such as Google ADsense. This way you're getting the best of both - not tickin' off Yahoo with non-US clicks and still getting paid for those non-US clicks.

    There are two different reasons here about Yahoo terminating accounts.

    One is that your site receives too much International traffic. That can be solved by using a program like phpadsnew which geotargets and only shows YPN ads to US visitors (based on their IP).

    The other termination reason is that you have low quality converting traffic i.e. MySpace where the users might be from the US and are clicking ads, but not purchasing anything from the advertiser. To cut down on "valid clicks" that do not convert for the advertiser, Yahoo has been terminating accounts for poor quality of conversion - which is completely different than CTR.

    yes i know, i have seen ur site, but what i was saying is that non-us visitors should also be able to see the ads. showing google ads to non-us visitors is a good alternative though

    that link does not mention myspace, or even social networking websites in general, for that matter.

    if ypn had an issue with it, don't you people think that they would have said so?

    what probably happened here was that some made-for-ypn scammers using myspace got busted, after which a couple of bloggers then jumped to false conclusions about it, and suddenly you aren't ever supposed to use ypn on myspace... basically a bunch of unsubstantiated rubbish, promoted by bloggers who don't have any factual information at all.

    where are the blogger links to cached copies of the ypn/myspace sites that got busted? nowhere... so you can't make an informed decision about anything... bloggers use hysteria like this to drive traffic, so that they can make money off of it.

    It seems Y!Advertisers force clickers ought buy something from their sites because the advertisers paid a big price for advertising so they want something in return :D How lame is that :p

    We should have warned our visitors with THIS:

    int main()
    {
    int = buy;
    int click;

    printf("You have to buy if you clicked\n");
    scanf("%d",&click);
    if (click == buy)
    {
    printf("Incredible, you have made a good choice\n");
    }
    else
    {
    printf("Sorry, Y! has banned my site :-(\n");
    }

    return PRICELESS;
    }

    :D

    I got banned from AdSense because of having them show up for non-US visitors, they thought I had fraudalent clilcks but I just was showing YPN for US visitors and I think they thought that, I don't really care though I was only making a few dollars with them and more with YPN. Screw AdSense. :)

    What exactly do you have to do to get terminated?

    Lets see, Spam.... No no no thats allowed ex. Blogspot.com Nav refferals might be considered spam....

    Ummm call them up and insult them? Nope tried that still a publisher.

    Ummm what else I know insult support ! Nope tried that again didnt' work still a publisher.

    Click Fraud? Whats that? doesn't exist please try asking me something more relevant like what the algorhym is and why its better than googles lol.

    Ouch Google Joke i have to laugh when someone asked the google team " Is it possible to convert on adsense more than 19 percent? "

    Reply ummmmm ummmmm ummmmmm

    " Non - Hype mode " well it we still can't figure out how you know that google is clicking their own ads a 9 percent first you tell us how you know that and next we will tell you why you can't make money pushing adsense with adwords "

    long story short it has something to do with Jews and Selling Jesus for 30 sheckles.

    Imagine the intrest though.
