Yahoo Publisher Network in the UK

    Hi,

    I've heard everyone say that YPN is still in BETA and is ONLY being tested in the UK. I have however seen several UK websites displaying YPN sponsored links. Does anyone know why this is or when they are launching in the UK.

    An example of a UK site using YPN is below, look at the sponsored links at the bottom of the page, the urls have 'overture' in them which I presume is YPN :

    I didn't see any ads. However, i wasn't aware that YPN is only available in England. That means the US cannot use them?

    As far as I know, YPN is for only US Residents/Citizens.
    It doesnt take much to be a US resident and running a site in UK.
    To have YPN ads, YOU have to be in US, it doesn't ask you to focus your site to US market.
    Just my opinion.
    However, I have no idea if YPN is available for UK.

    Meaning that, when I move to the US for student exchange, I won't be able to use YPN?

    Not quite, it is only available in the US.

    This is a YSM partner, the equivalent of a Google Adsense "premium" partner (with an XML feed etc.). You need to have quite a bit of traffic to qualify for this.

    The alternative is to go through YSM partners such as Oxado, which will provide contextual banners using (among others) YSM ads.

    YPN is for only US Residents/Citizens at present.
