I am trying to pay $299 for inclusion in the Yahoo Directory. The Yahoo payment server returns an error message and requests user to try again later. After trying to contact Yahoo for 3 days I am now asking a ludicrous question - Does anybody know how to contact Yahoo???? Help!

The system is actually trying to save you the $299 because it knows your site will be rejected and you won't get a refund. Didn't you get it?! :D

Well actually I'm renewing. Maybe Yahoo have too much money and simply don't care their payment provider had technical issues. Any way finally got it through yesterday. I'll take my chances despite credit crunch!

Has it been worth it for you? Have you gotten any decent traffic from the Yahoo directory?

Overall yahoo provides only 3% of our overall traffic. Roughly the same as MSN and Live whereas Google provides 45%. The rest of our traffic is combination of direct traffic (8%) and referring sites (30%) So, do I think Yahoo is worth $299 for 3%?

Yes I believe it is worth it. Its the same with BOTW, Business.com, etc etc This is despite the fact BOTW and others send very little traffic. Top quality paid directories like Yahoo are key factor in overall ranking/SERP.
