    Google
Page rank is not an indication of use but perceived popularity
Google is used more for search but Yahoo (the network) gets more traffic overall

You can try alexa.com to find out more about their traffic...

    Reach for Yahoo.com:
Percent of Internet users who visit this site
    Yesterday - 26.5%

    Reach for Google.com:
Percent of Internet users who visit this site

    Yesterday - 23.6%

I don't think alexa is a good basis for this because data it uses is just from people that just have their tool bar installed. I think google receives more searches.

I would choose google over yahoo. But I cause it depends on which seo will want to rank my site higher. ;)

I agree with the other poster. That data is derived from those who use Alexla toolbar to hit those search engines. Google presently receives more traffic than Yahoo even thought about. I believe Google has about 40% to 50% of the online traffic.

Careful how you phrase that, Google doesn't have anywhere near 40-50% of online traffic. They have a 60% share of Searches. Period.
Myspace is huge, Yahoo is bigger in terms of traffic.

Whatever search engine serves for your purposes is fine.

Google used to be the most accurate but since long ago it returns tons of junk results, mostly Adsense farms.

Yahoo is a litle bit annoying with its Portal format. Live.com powered by Microsoft is fast but not always return what you want.

Ask.com is becoming quickly a best option for searching, even though still growing up

Google by far. Although I prefer Yahoo Finance over Google Finance.
