yahoo or google best search engine all over the world.

I could be wrong but i heard throught the vine that YAHOO and BING are joining forces?? This would make for an interesting combo..

 

i think google is the best one of them, its simple and provide (if know how to search) the info you need.

 

I don't know anyone who uses Yahoo anymore

If you mean overall then Google is a winner without a doubt. However, there are some countries are still rely with Yahoo such as Japan. (This may be a reason why Google hired blog posts promoted their Google.co.jp in Japan and being caught later.) while some countries do prefer their own and anti-Google such as China and their Baidu.

 

Obviously Google is best.

 

No doubts Google is better than yahoo. But it doesn't mean that yahoo is not good. Google is better because 80% people use Google.

 

I really wish there was a good alternative to Google out there, but unfortunately none of the others can compare. Ask.com is better than Yahoo/Bing, they just have too many ads (the full top fold in some searches). Ask.com also runs Teoma.com where they test out some of their new search technology (behind the scenes stuff). It's about as basic as searching the web gets (although it's quite good at it).

I used to be a fan of Clusty but they were bought up.

You just have to keep in mind how they get their data but it does have its uses.

 

Nope something is not better simply because more people use it (assuming your talking about the web surfer's perspective). Google search is better because they have a superior index and a superior algorithm.

 

All of our sites are still ranking much better on Yahoo than Google, but Google will continue to be the most popular I believe.

both yahoo and google are good ads, but more men like using google , l think yahoo will as good as google!

Bing provides the search for Yahoo now.

It's really between Google and Bing these days.
