Yahoo optimization tactics

    To optimize and rank highly on Yahoo!,
    specific areas need to be addressed. On Yahoo! the major areas are as follows:
    * Keyword density
    * Site structure
    * Backlinks
    * Aging

    Yahoo! is the second biggest of the three major engines and includes an enormous network of websites.

    Let's discuss that how to get top in yahoo in few months.

    i have 5 sites but i got the result in google but yahoo Search is still not get good result for this key words.

    I just did an interview with Aaron Wall and I will quote from the interview:

    Q:How do your SEO efforts differ when it comes to optimizing for Yahoo vs. Google?

    A:If I have a low authority new site it will take a while for it to do well in Google. Typically it will take even longer to rank in Yahoo!. If there is a keyword I feel I must rank for in Yahoo! when I have a new site I might be more inclined to do 1 of 4 things

    • Buy an old site
    • Publish content on an old well trusted site
    • Use Yahoo! Search Marketing
    • Use the Yahoo! Search Submit program

    For Yahoo I'd just make sure I had the basics covered.

    So all the traditional chestnuts like: title, meta tags, keyword density, keywords in the url, alt text on images, and site structure/depth.

    I was asking this yesterday about yahoo search traffic. It happened with my site after 4 months of being online yahoo search traffic started only after 4 months and it is increasing day by day.

    Yes yahoo take lot of time to get the site on the top..

    I brought my new site in top 10 within a month on google...

    But on yahoo , it is still in 40's after 3 months..
