So yahoo has found 65 backlinks to my website. These backlinks point to 3+ pages on my site, but yahoo has only indexed the first page? It has been about 3 months now....shouldn't have yahoo indexed more by now?

Generally, Yahoo should have. I would create more backlinks to the deeper pages, and then utilize the RSS feeds to the deeper pages; and ping them as well so that Yahoo can find them.

I'm not too familiar with RSS feeds, what do you mean by utilizing them to the deeper pages?

Try getting some more backlinks for your inner pages in yahoo itself. For example, post some valuable comments in yahoo answers or bookmark those pages to yahoo bookmarks, yahoo buzz and so on. I am sure your pages will get indexed this way ;)

Try to get back links for inner pages, submit inner pages into dofollow social bookmarking websites, create signature in forums for internal links, through these techniques your inner pages get index as well..

I would suggest you to submit your xml sitemap/rss feed to Yahoo (Bing webmaster tools) so that it will be very easy to find your website pages and crawl them.

In my experience, it easy to get backlinks in Yahoo than Google. Almost all of the pages of my site have backlinks in Yahoo.

That stuff doesn't worry too much. It helps definitely to get backlinks any way you can, but if you keep focused on writing good content and creative marketing you'll get more traffic.

Yahoo can easily index deep links and rss feeds of your site. But be sure to get qualit content in order to cache always.
