Well im highly dissapointed about 1 thing.
Even though i set sports as my category i get a bunch of ad's that have nothing to do with sports. One thing though the ads that get clicked pay VERY well.
I dont get many clicks at all on YPN :(
any hint commands that you can use? like you can with google?

Exactly. On my video game site (Think teenagers) listed in the Toys and Hobbies --> Hobbies
category, what do I get?? Ads for child porn!!!!!

Be sure to complain to Yahoo.

For example I sent them this..

    Keep us posted, Ninno

Personally, I don't think complaining will help. It will take them a year or more to start consistently producing ads that are as targeted as G's.

    Hi Nin!

I doubt that Yahoo will take you too seriously..... You misspelled a couple of words.... Don't you use the "G" toolbar?!?!?! :D

Seriously though, I'm appalled that they would allow that kind of ad in the network.... gasp.

True, the 'wholesome boy-on-boy lovin'' ad sucks. Something tells me Y's reply will be 'Thanks for helping us improve the targeting. We are working on it....'

That's well understood. But come on..... boylove? That has NO place in the network.

I'm starting to wonder if Nin started this thread just for the ad sharing...???

    =D

Uggg, do we need proof for everything??! Here's my 'proof of purchase'!!!!

And the ad still shows up!!! I just blocked the domain with www. in it. Hopefully that'll get rid of it.

I also accidentally clicked the link while geting the URL, and reported the click in a second E-mail to them.

It looks like we won't need to worry as much when we confess to accidentally clicking a link. In there reply to the E-mail that mentioned the click, they didn't even say anything about the click, compaired to Google who tries to scare you half to death when you confess to generating a click! They simpy said...

No, it wasn't worth the $2.17 if one of the teenagers clicked it! (That's how much my click generated. You know you have a crummy CTR when you can tell how much a click generates!)

Just because they didn't communicate anything back to you about your inadvertent click, doesn't mean that they are totally cool with it.

I would like to know how they feel about accidental clicks. It would be great if you could send another message asking about the mis-click again to see what they send back. Wadya' say?
