Really? I know I bought a domain from them. And tried to go back and purchase another one from Yahoo. But they were asking for $9.95 for the second. So I think the $2.99 is only a one time deal for only one domain.

I bought not less than 200 domains with yahoo at $2.99/year for 5 years.:D Hate to see that offer gone.

ipower gives $2.95 offer only for first year.

I notice that the offer comes and goes--they used to let you buy as many as you could afford and than they limited it to just one. i remember one day they had a $1.99 domain sale(brought one)..was going to buy some more the next day and it was gone. Anyway, keep watch for more opportunity!

yahoo did not allow you to transfer the domain name to someone else (push to another user) so it is (was now I guess) not a good solution for people who might be selling the domain any time in the near future. It was, however a great place to get a domain name cheap if you were going to develop on that domain name and keep it yourself. If not, you would have to transfer the domain name away to a different registrar (pay the fee associated with the transfer applied by the new registrar) and then you would be able to push the domain to a new owner if you sold it.

Does ipower.com have a free push to other ipower.com members? I like these cheap domain deals since I buy a lot, but not if I can not push to another member for free, since it does me no good if I sell a domain. More hassle than what it is worth and it would end up costing more in the long run if I have to pay to have it transfered ect...

Any ideas if ipower.com allows for free push?

Yahoo always give offers in between days some time 2.99 and some time 8.99 or whatever so keep eyes open they will be back again with 2.99

Well i think this is also marketing buff if you always offer a domain at 2.99 it will not look like a great offer think so :D

    * They don't ask you if you would like addon hosting , addon parking, addon [insert random service here] four times before you can actually check out.

That is really really annoying, I also think the interface is more user friendly.

By the way, $2.99 is really cheap but wow 200 domains :p
