yahoo not working

When I try to enter yahoo.com or any other site related to yahoo I get a different page ont that site

whether it is yahoo mail
flickr
i am not able to access yahoo from quite some time..

and links on that page are of

facebook dot com
zotrock dot com/training-programs/ppc-training/


a googleleads link akes me to fb page for signup....


whats wrong i have tried searching on net but could not find so i think its something in my comp?

 

Facebook had some reported issues today and they seem to be resolved (at least some of them). I didn't have any problem with Yahoo today though.

 

I fear that some virus or spyware is doing this
now wiki also opens same page as yahoo does...

 

Get yourself a decent virus protection package asap.

I have used trial versions Now i have to buy a scanner.
is any free version available or do you knwo some thing which can help me in this case for removing these errors

I presume something is directing content of someother site when we type some domain name in address bar..
is there any option to control that in firefox?

 

Malwarebytes is really good at removing spyware and viruses. At least I found that to be the case.

 

clear your browser cache, cookies and all and try again. Also make sure that you have an antivirus with web shield. i suggest you to install avast and scan your computer on boot. let see if it works.

yahoo always works for me its a computer issue on your part most likely.

i guess may be at that time yahoo server was down, and you will need internet security for your computer as well.....
