Hi When I search for my targeted keyword in yahoo, its show up my website. But the description used in SERP is not what I have written in my meta tags. While Google is showing what I have written in my metatags. How can I instruct Yahoo to take my meta description instead of junk description from various paragraphs of the page. To check you can search for web development india in yahoo the site url is directtoindia dot com.

Ya it happens with yahoo, yahoo gives your Description acc to Page content and Backlinks Context. Dont worry Make up your targeted description in context and links and then check out SERP. Good Luck!
I would take no notice of it, the engines are moving away from meta data. Yahoo may have showed you a clip of your sites body text which was related to your query. Try doing site:yourdomain, then see if it shows your description. Let us know.
I found just the opposite. The meta description is picked up in both. Your site may just need to be crawled by yahoo to show up.
