Just was checking this morning and as I enter link/linkdomain yahoo displays such message:

Why am I being asked for my password?
To protect your account, you need to confirm your password periodically.
Some Yahoo! services, such as Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Address Book, require you to periodically enter your password even though you are already signed in. We do this to protect your personal information.

You can adjust the length of time before password prompting--up to 24 hours--by visiting Account Info and clicking on the Edit link for Member Information. (more)

For your security, we will always prompt you for your password when accessing sensitive personal information, like Account Info.

I tried also some seo extensions - they gets no desired response from Yahoo as well. So it's me/my ip or others seeing the same?

Actually Yahoo recently released Yahoo Site Explorer.
Yes, they still allow public information for backlinks and indexed pages.

Yup mate, thanks. Funny thing is for MIE it asks for password, for FireFox i can go without it :D

Anyway, this means all SEO tools at the moment are broken. If they will need to authorize it will be bad bad bad :)
