Have anybody checked out their site rankings in yahoo recently. After the current update i found these things. Only index page of a site is easier to get a top listing more or less than previous algorithm... None of the internal pages are in rankings anywhere and the some of the internal pages which has got backlinks are coming. So what a pity that it seems like to get a rankings in yahoo u will have to do backlinkings for every page, i guess anyone will work on that. However it was just my assumption, anyone noticing new facts about this algo pls share it...
I've not seen this as of yet. My female celebrities website (FreshDames.com) has one of its keywords targeted as "female celebrity pictures" - the main page has slipped to #8, but one of my internal pages is just below it at #9.
All our sites (15+) disappeared for every keyphrase and now we are working to get them back, was hard on us big time.
Personally, I would wait it out for a day or so before making adjustments. It seems that when Y! does this, things "shuffle" but things fall back into place for most well-structured and optimized sites within a few hours or a few days at the most. My concern would be that you make corrections unnecessarily in reaction to this one "hiccup" when if fact things may "shake out" to your advantage with no tweaks necessary. Either way - best of luck; happy ranking.
I've observed that Yahoo does seem to be having a more "pronounced" aging delay for newer sites. Older sites are given priority but so far there's been no major changes except that the algo is a crappy version of google. I don't think they'll stick to this current algo though, the serps are still very unstable and changing almost every 3 days or so.
